What is a water vapor cigarette? Well, some people call them that because they put out water vapor instead of smoke. The official name is an ecig or electronic cigarette. They way these modern cigarettes works is really cool. Basically, when you take a puff on one you’re not actually smoking. Instead, you’re taking a draw off an electronic device that has an atomizer, flavor cartridge and a battery.
When you puff on the unit you’ll exhale what most people think is smoke. However, you are actually just exhaling harmless h20 vapor. Because of that fact many people call this unit a water vapor cigarette. Since the unit actually does not ignite and cause smoke you get far less chemicals into your body that a normal cigarette. In fact. the only chemicals in an electronic cigarette liquid (e-liquid) are nicotine and propylene glycol (considered safe by the FDA and used in many foods currently). You can optionally get eliquid for your ecig unit without the nicotine if you would like to.
In the future as the water vapor cigarette (ecig) business grows I am sure even the technology will advance. It’s quite amazing how much change has come since ecigs popped onto the market a few years ago. With no sign in sales slowing down the future looks very bright. Many cigarette smokers are also either quitting or partially switching over to the ecigs. While the FDA does not see these are safer than cigarettes or label them that way, many people feel they are. Once more tests are conducted by independent researchers we’ll know more about these. So far the consumers seem to love everything about them and generally they believe they are 100% safe.
Some thing are certain when you exhale these on these units. Water vapor cigarettes do not stain your clothes, cause harmful smoke to those around you, and the do not cause bad breath (smokers breath). One of the things regular smokes are realizing with these units is that they are also cheaper than regular cigarettes over the course of about a year.
