E Cigarettes | See What Our Favorite One Is

The new rage. I’m sure you’ve heard of them by now. The E Cigarette is today’s super sensation that you’ll find droves of celebs touting. In fact, you’ve probably seen the celebs such as Kathrine Hiegl, Leonardo DiCaprio and more puffing on these awesome electronic devices.

So where did the ecig get it’s start at? Well this is a statement found on Wikipedia.com about it’s invention: “The electronic cigarette was invented by a Chinese medicine practitioner Hon Lik in China in 2003 and introduced to the market the next year. The company he worked for, Golden Dragon Holdings, later changed its name to Ruyan (meaning “to resemble smoking”) and started selling abroad.”

I assume that is completely accurate as they seem to have a lot of good facts on there about the E Cigarettes industry as a whole.

Are ecigs harmful? This seems to be a question that comes up a lot. The devices seem to be harmless as we all try to analyze them. However, no major formal testing information has been produced whether good or bad about these type of products. Of course just like regular cigarettes nicotine can become addictive and harmful if inhaled in large quantities. Of course, e cigarettes have cartridges you can buy that are nicotine free if you don’t want to inhale nicotine.

The big draw to the e cigarette? So what’s the big draw? People from the outside always seem curious. But, some of the things that attract a lot of attention to the ecig are as follows:

*No tar.

*No smoke – they actually put off water vapor.

*Odorless vapor. Unlike cigarettes that the smell gets into clothes and lingers, the ecig is odorless after a few seconds.

*Can be purchased in flavors.

*Are cheaper than regular cigs over the long haul.

These are just some of the things people love about them so far. Many people are using these as alternatives to smoking and getting away from other tobacco products in the process. Meanwhile some people who have never smoked are turning to “vaping” just to see what it’s all about! What is a water vapor cigarette? Well, some people call them that because they put out water vapor instead of smoke. The official name is an ecig or electronic cigarette. They way these modern cigarettes works is really cool. Basically, when you take a puff on one you’re not actually smoking. Instead, you’re taking a draw off an electronic device that has an atomizer, flavor cartridge and a battery.

When you puff on the unit you’ll exhale what most people think is smoke. However, you are actually just exhaling harmless h20 vapor. Because of that fact many people call this unit a water vapor cigarette. Since the unit actually does not ignite and cause smoke you get far less chemicals into your body that a normal cigarette. In fact. the only chemicals in an electronic cigarette liquid (e-liquid) are nicotine and propylene glycol (considered safe by the FDA and used in many foods currently). You can optionally get eliquid for your ecig unit without the nicotine if you would like to.

In the future as the water vapor cigarette (ecig) business grows I am sure even the technology will advance. It’s quite amazing how much change has come since ecigs popped onto the market a few years ago. With no sign in sales slowing down the future looks very bright. Many cigarette smokers are also either quitting or partially switching over to the ecigs. While the FDA does not see these are safer than cigarettes or label them that way, many people feel they are. Once more tests are conducted by independent researchers we’ll know more about these. So far the consumers seem to love everything about them and generally they believe they are 100% safe.

Some thing are certain when you exhale these on these units. Water vapor cigarettes do not stain your clothes, cause harmful smoke to those around you, and the do not cause bad breath (smokers breath). One of the things regular smokes are realizing with these units is that they are also cheaper than regular cigarettes over the course of about a year.
